The space intervention reflects a dialog around Mendelsohn’s thoughts done by the Architecture and Visual Communication students of UDK Berlin. It examines conceptual design approaches to the topics of architecture, urban planning, and media use. The recurring antagonisms in Erich Mendelsohn’s theoretical and practical work form a starting point for the conception of the exhibition elements: light and shadow, construction and shell, material and dynamics, form and perception, outside and inside, day and night. The project was a collaboration between the Berlin Chamber of Architects, UDK Berlin and the IG Metall Berlin-Brandemburg-Sachsen
